Create
Create, Dieter F. Uchtdorf
by Joshua Ryan Hayward
do any of you belive you can't draw, can't make anything decent or great, can't belive you will eventually make something so great and realistic you fail, you can't make anything as great as Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam at the Sistine Chapel, Vincent van Gogh's paintings, or even Shepard Fairy's HOPE poster of Barack Obama? i used to think that too. however, thanks to a prophet named Dieter F. Uchtdorf, i found my confidence and my beliveability to work that made me draw this image. according to Dieter F. Uchtdorf himself, he said: "The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds, or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, “I’m not the creative type." If that is how you feel, think again, and remember that you are spirit daughters of the most creative Being in the universe. Isn’t it remarkable to think that your very spirits are fashioned by an endlessly creative and eternally compassionate God? Think about it—your spirit body is a masterpiece, created with a beauty, function, and capacity beyond imagination. The more you trust and rely upon the Spirit, the greater your capacity to create." i spent hours drawing this picture, and you know what, it was worth it to me, i like the masterpeice i created, no matter what anyone says. according to the mormon message; create. "creation is our oppertunity in this life...and in the life to come, start small, creativity does not require a brush, a pen or keys of a piano, don't let the voices of critics paralize you, you will make the world a better place, improve beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop". my point is if you think you are not an artist, think again, give it a try, go take an art class and maybe you might find out you have a talent. accoring to the art class i took; "You may think you can't draw. You may have tried before, and failed. Miserably. You may have had someone tell you that you're not good at it. You may believe that the ability to draw is a magical talent that some people have and other people just don't. However, being able to draw is not something someone is born with. Just like playing the piano, hitting a baseball, or building a computer, drawing is something you learn how to do." drawing is simply knowledge, you can draw, you are simply laking knowedge, as mention before, take some art classes and you be suprised how you can easly do art. if you think you don't have talent, take some time to make art and jude your own and decide for your self if you got the talent.
